• I'm a software engineer with a passion for helping people understand complex software. When I'm not sitting in front of a computer, I love to escape into nature and immerse myself in the beauty of the world around us. I'm also a proud family man, married with three energetic boys who keep me on my toes and constantly remind me of the joys of parenthood. Whether I'm coding or hitting the trails, I fully commit myself to the task at hand and strive to be the best I can be.

    My current role at SmashCreative, a design agency, is to execute multiple tasks across different teams. I consistently demonste my ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality code. Whether creating workflow integrations and optimization or debugging a company tracking dashboard, I am always adding new frameworks and libraries to my knowledge base.

    The Addiction Guide, a site designed to raise awareness about a critical need for treatment options for those dealing with addiction. The landing page drives traffic to HopeBot. HopeBot is a custom trained GPT model designed to be a recovery coach. This project used several no-code tools to creeate the landing page, and implement a Stripe paywall integration.     PrizePortal, an iOS mobile app. This mock loyalty app was a my first mobile app. It has authentication, gift redemption, point redemption, and special coupons. I built this with expo, expo-router, and react-native. Styled with nativewind.

    Stillness Starts Here - Meditation/Reflection web app. This app features custom written authentication with JWT and express. Once a user is signed-up/logged-in, they cycle through an API of thought provoking quotes. After selecting one, they are prompted to write about it. The user can then view their journal entries and delete them. This app was built with React, Express, and MongoDB.
